The Beginning of a Great Thing

After much deliberation, I have decided to start a blog. I have a few friends that have one and I love how they are able to document the special moments that happen at home. I want Blake and Kylie to be able to look back at this and see how I have documented the first time they pooped in the potty and the first time they rode their bikes without the training wheels. I am sure they will be so thankful for this.

Blake is getting so big. He is 20 months old and is all boy. He never walks, always runs wherever he goes. Maybe he'll be a running back one day! He loves his sissy. Every time he notices her (which is often), he runs to her and gives her kisses. She ends up pretty wet from his kisses but she doesn't seem to mind. He recently got some Lego's for Christmas which are his favorite to play with (at the moment). He loves to make one stick and point it at everyone and say "No". Not really sure where he hears that at :)

Kylie is 4 1/2 months old. I believe it is about one year ago this coming week that I found out I was expecting, which was the last thing I expected. It was a very big surprise for both Aaron and myself but after the initial shock, we were thrilled. Kylie is just starting to try to roll over. Yesterday she rolled half way over and got stuck. Her belly was on the floor but her shoulders were up because her arm was stuck. She didn't seem upset but I couldn't leave her like that! She was probably trying to watch her big brother which she loves to do. She stayed up most of the day today just watching Blake run around the living room. She is one of the happiest babies I know. She loves to smile and is very ticklish. Her little giggle is adorable.

Not only are we very busy with work and the kids, Aaron and I are going back to school to get our MBA's. I think we are crazy for doing this right now and every time I start a new class, I ask myself why. We are only taking one class at a time so we can be with the kids, but doing this will drag it out a little longer than normal. Hopefully we will both be done in two more years.

I hope to keep this updated as much as possible. Maybe on Sundays when I should be doing homework, I can escape and do some blogging. Here is the most recent picture of the kids from my new IPhone. Until next time.....
