Wild Child

I caught Kylie dancing again. I just had to share and it was requested by Kari to post :) Her dance moves are too cute!

My dad has watched Kylie the past couple of days and today when I picked her up, this is what she had on - a dress with jeans, a bead necklace and a headband. It was hilarious and dad was so proud of how she looked. Haha it makes me laugh to see it again!

Our Christmas(es)

Christmas was amazing this year. It was here before I knew it and was over in a blink of an eye. Below are all of the pictures from our festivities (warning there are MANY pictures :) ).

Here is a video of the kids looking at their stuff. It's kind of long but I love how Blake just sits in front of his stuff just looking at it!

Santa Came!!!

Getting Ready to leave for our first Christmas stop with the Hall/Austin clan.

I see a future basketball player here!

Christmas at my mom and dad's house.

Kylie got a new car to ride around on!

And Blake just wanted to play with Katie's dollhouse.

All four Hall Grandkids.

I love this one! Kylie only put on arm up :)

Austin was so excited for his new PJ's!

Christmas with the Thacker family.

Aunt Emma and Uncle Nathan got the kids an awesome book for Christmas. It was the Thacker Family ABC's and it consisted of pictures of everyone in the family! The kids (and I) loved it!

The kids got Shrek 4!

Blake was watching it here. He looks so innocent in this picture!

Kylie with her lipstick wait, that was Aunt Emma's Red Velvet Cheesecake that she LOVED!

The kids got everything they wanted (or so I thought) and more for Christmas. I must have been good too because I racked up! Here are a few pictures of what I received that I LOVE!

A new point-and-shoot camera! I wanted it to keep in my purse so that I can be sure to capture all those memories! Especially since I am starting One Frame a Day in January.

My new Vintage Pearl necklace! I LOVE IT!!!

A jewelry chest to keep all my jewelry in. Not that I have a lot, but I like what I have to be organized :)

A new Vera Bradley bag! This was a complete surprise (my mom knows me too well). I have had my other one since the beginning of college (around 9 yrs ago).

Adobe Photoshop Elements 9! I wanted a software that wasn't too expensive, but was able to do what I wanted it to do. I haven't gotten to play around with it yet so hopefully it's not too complicated!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Blake finally was back to normal from his illness (Rotavirus) and today I took Kylie to the doctor. I thought she had an ear infection because she has been pulling at her ears, but it was only a sinus infection. Hopefully after a few days on her medicine she will feel 100% too. I am excited that I only have to work 3 days this week and my brother Jonathan and his girlfriend are coming over for New Years Eve for a low-key evening. Be safe and Happy New Year!!!

A Very Productive Day!

Here are a few pictures of what we did today (along with snuggling with the kiddos):

Yummy homemade Chex-Mix

The making of Chess Bars (Jonathan's Favorite!)

My big helper!

The finished product!

The making of another great dish: Buffalo Chicken Dip

Finished Product!

The making of cookies for Santa (and some for the kiddos). I love how Kylie is using her hands to talk to Blake in this picture.

Testing the cookies before the icing.

They were approved :)

Adding some sprinkles

Blake smiling for me with his awesome cookies!

They turned out good!

It was such an awesome day. Blake still didn't feel 100%, but we are hoping that tomorrow he is all better. The next two days are going to be great! Merry Christmas!!!!

Blake's Naptime

I just put the kids down for a nap and this is what I caught on the video monitor. I am not sure he was too happy to go to bed, but I know he was tired.

I will be blogging more later about the fun we have had today!

10 Days

It has been 10 days since I last posted! We had one full weekend of fun activities and a pretty busy week. I am officially off work until Tuesday! Tomorrow it will just be me and the babies and I have a couple of fun activities planned for the day. My MIL has been at our house keeping the kids since Friday (Thanks Paula!) because Kylie's sitter is off for two weeks. Good thing she has been here because Blake has had Rotavirus (fancy word for throwing up and diarrhea). He seems to be getting over it now (thank goodness) so lets just hope that Kylie doesn't get it now.

Our weekend started last Friday night with Aaron's work Christmas party at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana. I had never been there before but have always wanted to go (Aaron was excited because it is also a casino). Our room was gorgeous and the hotel was amazing. Here are the only two pictures I took the whole night but you can see more of the resort HERE.

Saturday we met my family out for my sister's birthday. I am so bad because I didn't even post on her birthday (sorry Kristin!). So here it is!

Happy Birthday Kristin!  You are the best sister anyone could ever have!!!
Happy 31st Birthday!!
(she kept telling everyone she was 21!)

Here is a picture of a few of us after dinner. We went to O'Shea's to have a couple of drinks and we had a good time!
Megan (Kristin's BFF), Aaron, Me, Kristin, Jeremy (I love his face in this picture), Brad and Jonathan

On Sunday we had our first Christmas celebration with my dad's side of the family. We had a great time and it was so good to get to hang out with the family.

The Grandkids and Great-Grandkids

And I had to include this picture. This is from our attempt to get a picture of the kids for the Christmas picture. I was pretty close to making this our Christmas card but decided against it.

Here is our final from our Christmas card. I told Kylie to give Blake a kiss and this is how it turned out. It was the best one we took!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! I know I will! They are expecting for us to have a white Christmas as of today (they said 1-8 inches this morning), but that may change. Everyone be safe and keep warm!
